YESTERDAY WAS OUR ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! HOLLLLAAAAAAA

Wow! It was only a year ago we started this blog in our tiny over-priced, Vancooter apartment. We were bored, sitting in rainy downtown and decided to start the site.

In that small amount of time we've had over 220,000 hits and had referrals from all over the world including notable sites like and NY Magazine & RollingStone.com.

Peoples, labels, and artists alike started reaching out to us.
Arthur Russell's parents were even kind enough to thank us for writing about their son, which was RAD.
We SO never would have thought that something that started so casual, could amount to something that has become quite so fufilling.

And not to get all mushy, but we really do appreciate each and every single one of you guys for being a constant support to us. It is what makes us want to keep sharing new music, and learning about upcoming acts everyday. We love your comments, emails, we love that you call us out on crap that we post -- all of it!

So THANKS, & WE HOPE TO TAKE EVERYTHING JUST A LITTLE BIT FARTHER THIS YEAR! IF you know what we mean, ARRRRROWWWWWWWW.

Love and hugs,

xTHE BEEB

Thanks again to the folks over at NY Mag's Entertainment Vulture who just linked to our post on Blohan's new single. We guessing that means New York now knows about our foul hospital experience, and our love for Samantha Ronson's makeup artistry. (See Below)

Check it out, along with what they have to say about a few other new tunes
