This is what having 15 years to practice sounds like -- tragic! I'm all for Canadian firsts, but when MTV in the states will put Heidi and Spencer on their awards shows, but won't touch The New Kids On The Block's comeback -- you know it's pretty cringe worthy. Way to go MuchMusic! And please, don't even get us started on those annoying ass VJs... (minus maybe a 90's Sook-Yin or George)
If you're into hot geriatric dudes, here are the NKOTB performing @ The MMVAs on Father's Day. Coincidence? Probably not.
The New Kids On The Block have relaunched their official website, and are planning some major comeback with a tour according to People magazine.
We thinks that shit is gonna be huge. Bigger than Paula's Superbowl performance. Now is the time. Everyone from moms in their 40s, to the American Apparel scenesters are gonna horde to buy a ticket right!?
In honour of this earth-rocking news, we thought we would share a little bit of "Hangin Tough" with everyone. Enjoy. NKOTB - Hangin' Tough (YSI)
**UPDATE**
Danny Wood of NKOTB posted this on his Myspace account, which is funny in itself. "Hello to everyone. Hope all is well and everyone is enjoying the New Year. I wanted to address the rumors of the NKOTB Reunion Tour. There has been no talk of this and you are getting it from source directly. Never say never, and you can't believe everything you read.
On another note my solo record will be released in Australia in March. There are a few new songs on it and I hope you guys will check it out. Thank you so much for your continued support.
Dwood"
A reality show maybe though, we'll wait and see on this one.
**UPDATE #2**
Ooooh, try and be gentle on us Danny, our bodies only hold the capacity for so much hope. Now Danny is saying: "More on NKOTB… Hi to all the New Kids On The Block fans, I wanted to clarify since my first post this morning regarding the NKOTB reunion. I loved being a part of the group, and have always thought "maybe someday we'll get back together" – you just never know when your someday will come. I can guarantee all the fans that if this reunion were to happen, they would hear about it first on www.NKOTB.com."
