By the power of Christmas! It seems strange that "Christmas Rappin" was the song that eventually got Kurtis Blow signed to Mercury Records back in 1980. Before Blow released the song, few people believed that his rap could become a marketable hit for labels to sell. He then went on to release "The Breaks" which went gold, and then opened for Bob Marley aswell as The Clash.
