We're helping Toy Toy blow out the wax candles today! You're just as stunning as ever, and that body cannot be described in words! It just can't. You gave the Chyna issue of Playboy a run for it's money. Hence, why we found the pic above on a site called VIPGlamour. The glamour is def VIP.
We'll still forever miss seeing yourface in black and white in the back section of the newspaper, and just having the opportunity to call on your psychic gift whenever need be. Thank you, and Happy 26th Toy Toy!
The drama in this video is out of hand. Aimee Mann's hair is ridiculous, almost as ridiculous as we look when running a hot bath, burning incense with a glass of red wine in our hand and listening to this.
WHAT?! Ok you were right. It was a white zinfandel.
Here's 'Til Tuesday's "Voice Carry" for our Retrorepost. Their only hit, but a hit no-less!
Since landing in our homeland on Thursday its been pretty full-on!
On Monday night we had the pleasure of checking out a rad party in a place some would say is a just a sleepy retirement city littered with churches.
Victoria's NO SRSLY is a night which waters down that repuatation. You'll find the crowd filling the dancefloor just as soon as the doors open, and theres remarkably good energy in the room, --something you rarely see in a world full of seemingly jaded electroni-hipster parties.
DJ duo BNGZ 'N KRLZ are responsible for the party each week, often being joined by Fastlife's DJ Ernold Sane and party photog-extrodinaire, Scott Loudoun.
You can grab yourself a piece of NO SRSLY with two mixes and a brand new remix from them below. The first, a contribution from BNGZ 'N KRLZ, followed by a another from Ernold Sane, and a remix done for band Theset. Check it out!

Ooh! Brand new hecklin' material for like, the next 2 eons! Living Lohan is gonna trump Chaotic and just about every other piece of trash we've watched baked at 4 in the morning, we can feel it.
White Oprah is so strong. And she's been through so much and it wasn't her choice that her kids wanted to be famous, now she has to deal with being their manager...uhhhhhhhhh
Here's an amazing clip from the show if you haven't been blessed enough to catch it already. In this clip, Dina deals with an alleged cell phone picture of Lindsay essin' the dee. Her daughter Ali (14), is present:
Today from 1-2pm Pacific, The Beeb will be appearing on CITR 101.9 FM's The Broadcast with DJ Betti Forde! We'll be talking about the blog and most importantly playing some banging new tunes. If you're near a radio, turn it up bitch!
"Marvin’s debut album is to be released in the UK on 28th July, entitled ‘Devil In The Distance’. The album, recorded in Bristol with veteran trip-hop producers Bob Locke (Massive Attack / Tricky) & Andy Jenks (Alpha) is a collection of true life stories set to grimy electro beats & rhymes."
We like! Have a listen below to the "That One Time (Lillica Libertine Remix)" which will be featured on the single out July 7th along with an UNKLE remix.
As Crookers continues to build an indentity in a room full of fidget house, their distinct sound is back on the BAD KIDZ. Watch out for a brand new promo within the next two months!
Although we're majorly nursing our hangover this morning, it's great to be back in Canada and seeing our friends and family. --I know, we really should follow that by posting some Anne Murray or Celine Dion (Justice Remix) but instead we've got for you the first original offering from LAZRtag. Enjoy!
Remember a few months back how we intuitively told you we knew how excited you all were about Scarlett Johansson's upcoming Tom Waits covers album? --We'll theres your answer. That's the great thing about being overly sarcastic. Sometimes you're right, even if you didn't intend to be... It's win-win.
It's actually pretty awesome that Scarlett Johansson kind of blew our socks off with this, because we were ready to chug the Haterade pretty hard. It's too easy though. The production is amazing, David Bowie is on it. It's somehow worked its charms on us.
Here's probably about the only song you haven't heard from the album, "I Wish I Was In New Orleans" (it makes us sleepy) along with some real Tom Waits.
I think when a new all-boy band comes out, especially nowadays there definitely is one very important question we need to ask eachother, and that is "Who's your favorite?".
We've decided we like the ginge. WHAT? Don't hold that against us!
Aside from that, these guys seem different from their (likely compared to) fellow bands. One commenter on the Youtube page we grabbed this video from nailed it when he said they sounded like Tubeway Army #2. We think thats good, and we also have a strong a feeling there is less flat-iron involved with these guys than with Pete Wentz.
Nonetheless, check out Late Of the Pier's new video for "Space Of The Woods", along with a completely different sounding remix from Primary 1 below. They've just released a double A-side which you can purchase HERE.
This album, In Ghost Colours has been one of our guilty pleasures lately. We can't even really rationalize why it has to be guilty particularly, --it's well constructed. Even though some of the 90's house-vocal samples threw us at first, we've still had it firmly on our iPod since its release.
And here we are, we've just received this remix by the Midnight Juggernauts who have taken Cut Copy's forthcoming single to the next level. Have a listen to a completely different approach to "Hearts On Fire" below:
While it's utter torture to pay attention to anything Jackson related these days, (Latoya AKA Toy-Toy is our personal favorite), this video from the near end of the "Jacksons" era is amazing.
The silhouettes of Toy-Toy's nails add that special seduction, and we haven't seen these kind of expensive special effects since Evil Dead.
Thanks again to the folks over at NY Mag's Entertainment Vulture who just linked to our post on Blohan's new single. We guessing that means New York now knows about our foul hospital experience, and our love for Samantha Ronson's makeup artistry. (See Below)
Check it out, along with what they have to say about a few other new tunes HERE.
Oh, how we cherish that precious picture above. That's kinda what the old man in the hospital bed next to us looked like when we got our appendix taken out. He ended up crapping himself, and then the hospital just tried to cover it up with this really bad White Musk cologne. It didn't work, it just became really sweet smelling...
Anyway, we're getting distracted from the matter at hand --if Lindsay Lohan did coke with, and then probably slept with Chromeo, you might get the jist of what her awwwwful new single sounds like. We know... Kelis did it like 2 years ago and it sounded about a thousand times better than this piece of crap, and again Blohan sets the bar for her fan(s) by singing about how she always gets what she wants, and she's just little bossy --so deal with it. Boring. Think about all the things she's seen that she could sing about! We need to know what kind of beauty products Samantha Ronson uses.
You can have a listen to the song below. Thoughts?
We still can't wrap our head around what XXXchange is all about. I mean, at first glance, you see his name is XXXchange which makes us think he's like some drug-dealing-ghetto-rap-DJ who yells over his sets (not that theres anything wrong with that, we love our booty-bitch-rap), but then he comes out with these amazing and often very prettyish remixes for everyone from Thom Yorke to Santogold, and now Daedelus.
The nice thing about blogging music, is finding out about new and exciting artists constantly.
London's Panic Attract is an artist who you hear and immediately can see doing big things. The production is tight and stays interesting, and so do the words.
Have a listen to "Picket Line" below. Also make sure to visit Panic Attract's Myspace page to find out more about their release, and listen to "Free For All", a truely wonderful song.
