I've been told that although Green Velvet has always had this dirty underground thing with his music, that the message really comes from a place of his faith, and has been perceived by some as even being preachy at times.
That's hard to believe when you hear a song like "Red Light" talk so candidly about fucking and hookers, but the lyrics in this new release might make you inclined to think so.
